Bill Calhoun / Lucentio

Jack Harbour

Over the last decade, Jack has performed in more than 30 productions across the Coast. Most recently he appeared as Bobby in Spotlight Theatre’s Saturday Night Fever, as Romeo in GCLT’s Romeo and Juliet by Mercury’s Wings and as Steve in the Arts Centre Gold Coast’s season of Flood by Shock Therapy Productions.

When he’s not making a scene Jack is usually making a scene. For that reason he’s always loved the stage.

Jack’s Labrador pup ‘Ned’ also fancies himself as a bit of an actor, regularly appearing under the stage name ‘Edward the wonder dog’ at various pet exhibitions.

Away from theatre, Jack loves karate, loves to write and works in media relations for the Queensland Government.

He has enjoyed being part of 'Kiss Me, Kate' and wants to give a shout out to his mum for her honest appraisals of his developing performance.

Jack would also like to warn any choreographers in the audience – no, he wasn’t meant to dance like that and no, he can’t help it.
