“4 weeks you rehearse and rehearse...”

Well that is what our busy cast have been doing. We are getting into the last few weeks before the grand opening of ‘Kiss Me, Kate’ and our schedules have been packed.

​

Our nimble footed cast have been focussing their energy into choreography this week. The lovely Lois (Tess Burke) has had no shortage of suitors and is being pursued with gusto in particular by 3 gentlemen, namely ‘Tom, Dick and Harry’, each equally able to sweep any Shakespearean maiden off her feet in this fast moving routine. How will this maid pick just one to marry? Our bet is on Lucentio (Jack Harbour). Our gorgeous ensemble ladies (Dana White and Jordan Brinsley) have also been showing their dancing prowess becoming every man’s fantasy and raising Fred’s (Simon Stone) heart rate in ‘Where is the life that late I lead’ when he reminisces about his past romances.

And speaking of love - our handsome male cohort have been raising a blush amongst our ladies with their spectacular vocals in ‘Too Darn Hot’! Smooth, sultry and just as Cole Porter intended. (Trust us ladies - it is worth seeing the show just to enjoy this number!)
